Ruth San Pietro is an artist in Venice, California. Her highly sculptural work is inspired by her passionate love of animals, a desire to increase awareness of bio-diversity, and the value of recycling paper fiber which saves water and trees.
San Pietro’s work helps conservation organizations to raise needed funds to protect imperiled wildlife in their fragmented and shrinking habitats around the world.
Profits from the sale of original sculptures, prints and products are shared with charitable organizations including The Jane Goodall Institute, World Wildlife Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council, In Defense of Animals, PAWS, The Greater Los Angeles Zoo, and The Elephant Sanctuary.
